Thinking Of Attending a Beer Festival? Surf ‘N’ Suds Is a Must!
If you are one of many craft beer lovers who want to visit as many breweries as possible but just can’t, a beer festival is the way to go. Though there are hundreds of beer festivals held yearly all around the world, our experience at
Surf ‘N’ Suds was nothing short of an amazing time.
For 2016, Surf ‘N’ Suds is held first in Ventura, CA (where we attended) and again in Carpinteria, CA (only 20 minutes north of Ventura) where we will also be attending. To start with, there are over 50 breweries to taste, which all provide a beer that will definitely satisfy your palate. The lineup consists of many breweries such as Captain Fatty’s, Barrelhouse 101, Green Flash, Poseidon, Topa Topa, Enegren, Lagunitas,
Latitude 33 and Anacapa.
If that’s not enough, there are local food trucks and craft beer merchandise to take home with you if you insist. For example, Chop Top Bottle Company was a perfect stop to discover a variety of handmade products such as soap dispensers and candles. If you’re more into food, then we recommend checking out Dog Tag who also will give you samples to taste and try. We happen to be a fan of spicy, so we
ended up picking up a bottle of the Chipotle Ghost Pepper Mustard.
Stay tuned for more craft beer events that we attend!
