There’s something about “packaging” that catches my eye. Maybe it’s a girl thing. Or maybe it’s because Ballast Point has a very eye pleasing label on their beers. The sea life art on their bottles are always a plus to their beers. Ok, it must be a girl thing! Not only does Ballast Point have great labels and packaging, their Fathom IPL is an easy to drink lager with lots of flavor.
The Fathom India Pale Lager is a lager meets IPA brew. The Fathom India Pale Lager combines time-honored lagering techniques with the hop profiles of a West Coast IPA recipe. The cold-fermenting lager yeast provides a clean base that allows the citrus and pine aromas from the hops to really shine. The result is a gold medal beer with a refreshing, easy drinking character and just the right amount of depth. http://www.ballastpoint.com/beer/fathom/
